But it sure helps if they do!

If you haven’t seen The Imitation Game, I promise not to spoil it for you. But I cant help thinking about a line in the movie that really struck a chord with me.

“You’re going to need all the help you can get.  And they are not going to help you if they do not like you.” 

Joan Clarke (played by Keira Knightley) was right on the money. To get anywhere in life, one needs help. And people are more inclined to help you, if they  like you.

The Imitation Game says  as much about team dynamics as it does about WWII. In the movie, Benedict Cumberbatch plays Alan Turing, the British genius mathematician, logician, cryptologist and computer scientist who led the charge to crack the German  Enigma code. Turing is portrayed as a brilliant and articulate, but odd character who lacks  even the most basic communication skills. He’s a decent sort of fellow…
